Synpsyche (the "App," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Guangzhou Gongshizhou Technology Co., Ltd. (Unified Social Credit Code: 91440106MAKJ5QXD5P, registered address: Room 02-N89, 2901, No. 89 Yanling Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. By creating an account or using Synpsyche, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account data: email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash; we never see the plaintext).
• User content: dream journals, mood records, reflection notes, and conversations with our AI assistant.
• Virtual currency: your "energy" balance and consumption records.

Information collected automatically

• Device & system data: device model, OS version (for compatibility and diagnostics).
• Diagnostics: crash and performance logs (collected via Sentry).
• Push identifier: device push token, only after you grant permission.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide core features: dream journaling, mood tracking, structured psychological analysis, personalized insights;
• Provide AI analysis and conversation (your content is sent to our AI provider, DeepSeek, to generate results);
• Secure your account and prevent fraud;
• Send notifications you have authorized (e.g., journaling reminders);
• Analyze usage and improve the service.

3. How We Share Information

We share data only with processors necessary to deliver the service, under data processing agreements:

We do not sell your personal data. In a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, we require the successor to honor this policy.

4. International Transfers

Some processors are located outside your region (notably DeepSeek in China, and Resend / Expo / Sentry in the United States). Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and appropriate supplementary measures. Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email wang@synaxia.tech. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (for example, within the EEA).

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account within the App. Account deletion is irreversible and removes your account together with all associated personal content (dreams, mood records, reflections, and AI conversation logs). We will erase or anonymize the relevant data within 30 days of deletion, except where we are required by law to retain certain records for a longer period.

8. Security Safeguards

• Encryption in transit: all data exchanged between the App and our servers is protected with TLS (HTTPS).
• Encryption at rest: passwords are stored only as salted bcrypt hashes; we never store plaintext passwords.
• Access control: personal data is accessible only to authorized personnel and vetted processors under contract.
• Monitoring: we use crash and performance monitoring (Sentry) to detect and respond to incidents.
• Breach notification: in the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Synpsyche is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14; if we learn we have, we will delete it promptly. If you are under 14, please do not create an account or use the App.

We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes in-app or by email.
